The YRYM HT barbecue grill mats came in just in time for me to cook shish kebabs on the grill. I decided to try my new barbecue grill mats, and I sprayed them with the olive oil before laying the shish kebabs on them. They worked perfectly, the kebabs cooked up beautifully, and nothing fell into the grill! I would highly recommend these grill mats. All you have to do when you finish using them is wash them off and wipe them down. I'll store them standing up in my lower cabinet behind the baking sheet. The instructions said that they could be folded or rolled, but for me, they work well standing up behind the baking sheet. They are much firmer than what I was expecting....a quality product! I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review. That discount in no way influenced my review. I would have bought these long ago, if I had known they would work so well!
First time I used YRYM HT grill cooking mat was for a NY strip steak 1 1/2" thickness. Tasty was great but a little under cooked. I started with a very hot grill (gas) cooked first side 7 minutes second side 9 minutes. Was just a tad raw on one side. Will adjust grilling times and report back. The barbecue grill mats worked great, helps keep my grill grease free and the mats are easy to clean. Just used once so far - they didn't melt and provided a nice sear on bbq ribs. Grill cleaning not necessary - the mats rinsed off easily. Right now I have one of them in the dishwasher to make sure they're safe. Can't wait to use the grill cooking mat on other grill items that are hard to grill/cleanup like fish! my daughter loves hers so am sure i will too no more scraping the grill after use!
The YRYM HT barbecue grill mats have completely changed my relationship with my grill. No more clean-up! I've grilled tuna steaks, pork ribs, beef flank steak and chicken pieces so far and everything has turned out perfectly. Purchased similar products in the past from different manufacturers and these function just as well. Very happy with the purchase. Product makes grilling things like delicate fish and vegetables especially easy. I would have bought these sooner, excellent product! No flare ups, provide grill lines and clean up easy. Used these mats for the first time over the holiday weekend. They did not work as I believed they would. I was cooking sausages and the mats caught fire from the grease that dripped from the mats.
Excellent grill cooking mat. Used it to grill fish @400'F. Grill marks were even & all juices stayed on the mat. No mess & hassle of cleaning any pieces that would have otherwise fallen through the grates. Simple soap water cleaned the mat.Feel wise-looks good but the test will be when grilling. Will give my final assessment later. Great mats, easy to clean and heat is spread out really well. Great buy.
