How to grill pork belly

Pork belly can be a perfect ingredient for grilling as it has rich fat. Grilled pork belly is really juicy and tender. If you know how to make marinade, you can cook juicy and tender pork belly. This is a recipe about how to grill juicy and tender pork belly.

Ingredients
360 grams pork belly
1/2 tablespoon salt
1/4 tablespoon white pepper powder
1 1/2 cooking wine
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons cumin powder
1 1/2 tablespoons ground red pepper powder
1 piece of ginger
3 chives
1 scallion
1 lettuce

Directions:
1. Wash the pork belly and drain it. Cut into strips, then cut into 3-4 mm thick slices and put them into a large bowl.
2. Slice the ginger, chop the chives and parsley into pieces. Mix the white pepper powder, cooking wine, soy sauce, cumin powder, red pepper powder and ginger slices in a large bowl. Stir well to form puree which is the marinade.
3. Pour the marinade into the bowl of the pork belly and mix thoroughly. Transfer to refrigerator and marinade for at least 1 hour.
4. Place a grill mat on the baking tray to prevent grease from sticking and keep it clean. Transfer the marinated pork belly in the baking tray.
5. Preheat the oven at 150 degrees for 10 minutes. Transfer the baking tray into the oven, and set the temperature at 150 degrees and time for 15-20 minutes for both upper and lower layer.
6. When grilled for 8-10 minutes, take out the baking tray and flip over the pork belly.Rub the remaining marinade and take back to the oven for continuous grilling.
7. Wash and drain the lettuce leaves.

8. Remove the baking tray when the time is up. Sprinkle with scallion and parsley chops. Serve with lettuce leaves to avoid too fatty.
