how to use kraft butcher paper

I like the convenience of having kraft butcher paper around. I use it for multiple things from crafts for kids projects, base of pet cages for easy clean up, and even as wrapping paper. This one was very good because it was durable enough to use on the bottom of a bird cage but soft enough to bend and use as wrapping paper. I used the kraft paper to wrap boxes that I'm shipping. It's a good size roll and the paper thickness is decent. It's slightly thinner than the ones I see at the restaurants where they use to put on top of tables and you can draw on. It's not as thick as a cardboard or card stock type of paper. It's slightly thicker than regular paper though. However, it's good enough that I can wrap my boxes with feeling like it'll tear or get mangled. I think it'll be good enough for kids to draw on too.

I purchased this kraft butcher paper to wrap birthday presents for my boyfriend. I always get him 25 presents since his birthday is on the 25th of the month, and then he gets to open a present per day. This worked out well because it was more affordable than wrapping paper but I was able to decorate the presents using sharpies and craft supplies and it made the presents even more special. I use the kraft paper for gift wrapping and found that it serves its purpose but may be a bit on the thin side. I also used to to darken some family room windows to make the summer heat tolerable. Brown Butcher Paper is thick enough to use as wrapping paper- which was my purpose for projects for the holidays to stamp and stencil my own paper. But I have been using it to make patterns for clothing and dolls. Cheap and very functional.

Brown Butcher Paper is Great for a party or to wrap gifts. We used it to cover tables for my son's birthday party and then kids were able to draw on it and decorate with stickers.
