YRYM HT barbecue grill mats work great for keeping grill clean

YRYM HT non stick grill mat is a great heavy-duty (and they mean it) BBQ Grill cover. I had yet another one guaranteed to be indestructible at a considerable cost that lasted through last winter and halfway through this rainy wet windy summer we're having in the Rocky Mountains this year. Then it developed holes and tore from the bottom up and faded on the edges where it came in contact with the BBQ Grill itself...what a waste and at over a $100.00. Vine offered this one and right off the bat it has twice the heft of the fancy one (YRYM HT brand in case you're wondering). The weaving is much tighter and it comes with two vented sides, cylinder access, UV protection (need it up here in the thinner air) and to top it off heavy draw strings with heavy spring lock fasteners (like seat belts) to keep the cover in place in high winds - and it's already passed that test this year with the winds we've been having with violent rain squalls coming and going everday.  Time will tell on sun resistance and tears and I'll come back and downgrade the review if I experience any problems but for now I'm very pleased with it and will give it 5 stars. At forty dollars you can't beat the quality ( barbecue grill mats I had - yeah go ahead and laugh at me, I deserve it!). I think this one's a solid winner.

We have four grills that are on uncovered decks and porches in the hot humid south. Our grill covers take a beating and we have tried quite a few over the years. I am really impressed with YRYM HT barbecue grill mats. It is one of the heaviest fabrics we have found. The design is simple and tailored and classy.  The color is perfect, and construction is excellent. As with all barbecue grill mats, the true test is a year in the sun, the storms, the wind, and how they survive the elements. I am very optimisic about the longevity prospects for this cover. This is a pretty good cover from Cuisinart. The 65 inch version will cover a large grill. The size makes it easy to put on and remove. The fabric is not as heavy duty as some other grill covers, but it is heavier than typical lightweight cheaper ones. This makes for a manageable cover to deal with and handle. I wouldn't want one too heavy as it would become a 2 person job. The dual side vents are nice and help to keep mold and mildew away in humid climates. There is pretty good airflow around and under it. I do find that some covers stick to the top of the grill too much and this can be a problem area. This one has pretty good sized seams that help with this area. The locking straps do come in handy if you live in a windy area.

The UV and water resistance of the non stick grill mat will be the biggest factors testing this cover. Color fade resistance and water repellence hopefully will last at least 3 or more years. If kept under a roof or out of direct sun and rain I expect it would last much longer. I do wish was not as prominently placed. It would have been classier to have it smaller and on the bottom hem of the cover. Otherwise it is a decent cover in its price point. 4 stars. I feel like the true test of a grill cover is time to see if weather causes it to deteriorate. Having not had this for long, can't speak to that, but it feels like it's made of quality thick materials that'll last. Fits over my grill easily. Has a "window" to access the propane. I guess that could come in handy, but I usually just wait til I'm about to grill something if I need to change out the tank. Has cinches to tighten over the grill, but I haven't needed to use those either. Looks nice on the outside.

This is mid-range on barbecue grill mats that we've used over the year for weight and hopeful durability. The longest any cover has lasted on our second story windy deck is two years before it tears too much in the open elements it faces. So we've had a few over the years. This one fits well and some some clever venting and strapping options to keep it anchored in winds, something we obviously care about. I also like the color--a mid-range that doesn't show dirt or fading as quickly as the lighter and darker versions we've had. It's still not as heavy weight as others we owned but if it lasts longer than two years I will come back singing its praises. I will take durable and heavy enough not blow away if the straps are loose over a heavier weight. Only time will tell. Biggest quibble with this one is the huge logo, especially silly when our grill isn't a Cuisinart one. But I don't really care if it gets the job done.
