I never used YRYM HT non stick grill mat before, but last night tried it with portobello mushroom burgers with toasted bun and it worked great. Put it on the top rack in the dishwasher afterward and not all of the grill side came clean. Even after rewashing with a sponge, some of the residue remained and will now always use that side on the grate. Also do not use at 500 degrees or over. I like to sear steak and crank up the grill to 600 degrees for the first few minutes. A no-no according to instructions. Otherwise worked fine and will see how long it lasts. Vegetables cook evenly, don't stick to the sheet, and don't fall to the bottom of the grill now.
Grill and still have grill marks with non stick grill mat. BBQ stays stays cleaner. Bacon was so much easier. Used them so many times now love the grill marks still come through and I dont have to worry about scrubbing the grill before and after every use. Burgers slide right off, and you still get the grill marks without all the hassles and problems with burgers slipping through the grates. Plus, really easy to clean. Great heavy duty mat. no defined grill marks. And you have to watch it a little more as the fat does tend to pool. easy fix with paper towels. much better than the thin, cheap ones. This mat is perfect for several reasons: 1: obviously when u don't want to clean the grill or have build up hard to remove and 2: it helps to prevent burning. I have a huge grill and my food cooks fast but this mat shields the fire and allow food to cook right. I poked holes in the mat like another reviewer said and that helped to get rid of the grease. A must buy!
YRYM HT BBQ grill mat is EXCELLENT for grilling veggies and anything else you may want to control grill flare ups on when grilling !! The best thing about this product is that it keeps the grill clean, so no grill clean up. It also cooks evenly. The BBQ grill mat can be used for not only meats, but vegetables and fruits - without any worry of them falling through the grill. Plus the mat retains the juices so thay everything is tender. I purchased the grill mat to replace some mats I had been using. I am pleased with the Grillaholics Grill Mat. The mat performs as advertised. I have found the grill mat easy to clean with dish soap and water. The items I have grilled to date have turned out well.
I got tired of trying to fish our mushrooms and salmon out of the grill slats. We bought these grill cooking mats hoping they would solve the problem, and they are fantastic! No sticking and very easy to clean. The grilling worked great with the heat evenly distributed on the fish each time. Wish I knew about these sooner. They will be with us each time we grill now. Just a little hard to clean but other than that I love using these. Excellent product for keeping my grill clean. Grills just like directly on grates. Fine product. I have grilled beef, pork, chicken, fish, and vegetables. Nothing sticks, and the juices can be rerouted off the mat and away from the flames. No flareups, no burned proteins. Used this to make pizza and to heat up vegetables on grill. Did a great job with heat distribution and cooked everything quite well! Need to watch temperature as it can not go above 500 degrees .
