The YRYM HT grill cooking mat works as advertised. This product has revolutionized what I cook on the grill. Previously I had been shy to cook delicate fish like salmon on the grill for fear of sticking to the grates and falling apart. With this mat, it is no issue at all. Salmon, shrimp, swordfish you name it. None of it sticks to the mat and you don't have to use any grease as the natural oils in the fish are enough. I have even used this to cook queso de freir (Mexican frying cheese) and even that doesn't stick. And this thing really stands up to the high temperature. I have accidentally let the grill get higher than 600F while pre-heating, and not had any issues with the mat degrading.
My biggest complaint is the cleaning. This grill cooking mat is as easy to clean as they would lead you to believe. It takes a good bit of scrubbing with a soft and soapy sponge to remove any char from the mat. Though it is dishwasher safe, the dishwasher won't really get off any built on char. It comes off fairly easy with light scrubbing, but still I don't like having to wash things by hand. It is a small price to pay what you gain though. These Barbecue grill mats work very well, and do what they are intended to do. I have a kamado grill, and needed to cut them down just a bit. They are a well made product. The only drawback is that they are made in China.
The first grill cooking mat I ever used I got as a gift. I thought it was just a gimmick until I used the barbecue grill mats. It worked great but it was a cheap knock off that quickly wore out. So I bought this YRYM HT grill cooking mat. Wow! This one is of much better quality! I use it for cooking chicken wings and fish on my Weber Q grill as those have a tendency to stick no mater how much oil I use on them. Get this mat! It's one of those things that you wish you had discovered years ago! Very good product, i do a lot of outdoor cooking over fire pit and grill, these held up to intense heat, no stick, easy to clean, and rolls up for easy storage. I was also asked from the seller to review them. I e-mailed back to them that the product was everything as advertised and that you don't find a company that often that wants feedback about their shipping, and if I even received the product in shipping. But they did.
Could not perform any better. All my friends I gave one to also love them. These work well and are especially nice for smaller grills, but can also be used on the large grills. This product is great. Worked perfectly and cleaned up easy. Very happy. My wife love it. Food still cooks as if it were directly on the grill. Easy to clean. I have everyone I know using Kona grill mats, makes grilling a breeze not having to worry about cleaning a messy grill! I had my last Kina grill mat fall apart after 6 use. But I contacted the seller, and they immediately sent me out the replacement. So far its holdings well.
