I loved using the grill mats bought from YRYM HT. I bbq’d sausages, burgers and hot dogs and they cooked to perfection.I didn’t have use a high heat. Low was really good enough. The clean up was the second best thing. No cleaning the bbq grill. Just take paper towels, wipe mat/mats off and wash with very warm soapy water, rinse well, put away until the next bbq. Can’t say enough good things about this product. Makes barbecuing fun, easy and fast.
I have never used grill mat so I was skeptical despite the great reviews, but these things are great. They are completely non-stick and you can still get grill marks through the mat. I have a small round grill and was able to trim these so they fit perfectly. If I wasn't so crappy at arts and crafts it would look like the mat was made for my grill but alas, it's obvious they were cut, no fault of the mat. I cooked what I believe is the ultimate test for them, fish fillets and they came out perfect. I think of things to cook on the grill now that I wouldn't have even attempted before.
I received this as a birthday present and love them! I have used for pork chops, chicken, and hamburgers. I no longer have to clean my grill and worry about wire brush pieces getting in the food. They say they can be laid on the top rack of the dishwasher, but my dishwasher top rack is made weird so they don't work in there but just a little dawn and a scrubby brush and they come clean easily even when the cheese has dripped all over them. It keeps the fire from flaming up because the drippings stay on the mat, instead of dripping into the fire. After using these, I'll never grill again without them. Keeps my burners and grilling grate clean, and still I get the stripes on my steaks. Takes a bit of experimenting to learn how to set temperature and when to turn the steaks but once you figure it out, the results are great grill tools. Makes grilling fish and vegetables easy. Giving a set to my friends and family for Christmas.
Just a great addition to your grilling arsenal. The mat is the perfect grilling surface. You get grilling marks on your meat and cleanup is as simple as it could be. In addition to selling a great product, the seller is outstanding. No sooner had I received the grilling mats, I was contacted by the seller to make sure I received the mats, and to remind me that the product has a lifetime warranty, By the way, each package contains two mats. Do yourself a favor and try them out. You won't regret it.Purchased the mat (along with the Burger Press) for my husband to go along with his new Weber gas grill. Did some research into various mats but ultimately chose this one due to the reviews. And they are all correct! The mat allows you to cook just about anything perfectly. It gives you the "sear marks" desired on grilled chicken, meat or fish. We have tried all three and all have been done better than if cooking directly on the grates, including hamburgers. The mat keeps the grill itself cleaner and cleans up easily with hot water and dish soap.
